Experience culinary craftsmanship up close.

A maximum of eight guests take their seats at the exclusive table, enjoying a direct view into the open kitchen. Over the course of an eight-course menu, dishes come to life before their eyes, showcasing the finest alpine ingredients. Each course is meticulously crafted, paired with exquisite wines or an innovative non-alcoholic beverage pairing.

Joshua Leise made waves with his first Michelin star in Munich. Honored with the Young Chef Award by the Michelin Guide and recognized as a Young Talent by Gault Millau, he is among the most exciting chefs of his generation. Now, he is shaping the culinary experience at Hotel Mondschein with his own philosophy: top-tier Alpine ingredients, refined flavors, and a sustainable 'nose-to-tail' approach.

Alpine culinary culture in the Alte Gaststube – since 1739.

If you want to experience Alpine cuisine in its most authentic form, the historic Alte Gaststube is the place to be. Here, coziness meets top quality: specialties from the in-house smoker, homemade bread, and regional classics take center stage. The ever-changing à la carte menu ensures variety every day.

A true highlight: the legendary Mondschein duck, served in three or four courses by pre-order. For convivial evenings, the fondue experience is a must—available Tuesday to Thursday.

The historic 17th-century wine cellar offers an exquisite selection of exceptional wines. Sommelier Matthias Lantenhammer continuously expands the collection with rare finds and insider gems. Regular tastings and winemaker dinners invite guests to rediscover the world of wine.

Mondschein Club – The Perfect Finale

After an indulgent evening, the Mondschein Bar transforms into a vibrant social hub. Every Wednesday and Friday, DJs set the mood with house and electronic beats, creating an electrifying atmosphere.
