Kriegeralpe

The Kriegeralpe impresses in every season. Built in the traditional Tannberg Walser style, this rustic hut at 2,000 meters above sea level offers the perfect spot for a cozy break with a ski-in, ski-out vibe. Located directly on the slopes, it’s an ideal place to stop for lunch before heading down the valley run to Oberlech and the BURG ice bar.

Winter hiking trails also pass by the Kriegeralpe, making it a destination for all. Culinary delights abound in this alpine hut: regional specialties such as mountain cheese dumplings, fried dumplings, or fresh goat cheese are enhanced with hand-picked herbs and blossoms from the summer meadows of Oberlech. Alpine chives, meadow caraway, masterwort, and great masterwort add a unique flavor, delighting the palates of every visitor.
