Restaurant Klösterle has found its new calling with a completely independent concept. Jakob Zeller and Ethel Hoon, who are in charge of Klösterle on behalf of the patrons of Almhof Schneider, show off their very own interpretation of a meal's elementary parts - time, conviviality, and food - that have always characterised Klösterle. Their dishes spring from an analysis of the place, the alps' culinary riches, and ancient techniques for preserving seasonal products. At the same time the Klösterle is an architectural gem: one of the few remaining Walser houses, almost completely preserved in its original 17th-century state.
