After many years of training with the best of the best like Jeff Galvin, Thorsten Probost and Heinz Reitbauer, Jakob Strolz has returned to Schmelzhof as Chef de cuisine. Obviously the culinary genes were passed down to him by his mum Gitti and his grandma Mimi, both were passionate chefs. Now, conserving what is good, such as the legendary SCA-Pasta, while simultaneously coming up with new ideas, that is Jakob's plan for Gittis Esszimmer. And taste is always top priority. With one of the signature dishes, the Chateaubriand (served on a hot stone and carved right at the table), this is more than obvious. Definitely a must-have at Gittis Esszimmer.
