What used to be a kind of snack-bar on Flexenpass at 1,773 altitude metres now is a secret tip in Lech Zürs. In the evenings the 30 minute walk here – complete with torches through the snow – increases the anticipation and appetite. Rustic furniture and a roaring fire make for a great atmosphere. The parlour holds no more than 30 people so you need to make a reservation in advance!
During daytime there are the popular jacket potatoes, grilled ribs with chives dip and homemade mulled wine. In the evenings it’s fondue-time – sometimes with filet of beef, sometimes with king prawns, accompanied by oven-baked bread and fresh butter or bacon. And of course there is plenty of good wine which is why the evenings at Flexenhäusl are notorious for their exuberant atmosphere.
