ra'mien

Japanese noodles

In Asia it’s fast food, in Europe a welcome change: Ramen. This traditional dish and other Japanese delicacies are what ra´mien specialises in. And the noodles actually fly through the air here!

Thanks to the open kitchen in the hip restaurant on Gumpendorferstrasse one can watch the chef slice the noodles off of a block of wheat dough and quickly fling them into boiling water – only moments later they become part of delicious noodle soups, called La Mien or Pho. Aside from the popular soups guests can look forward to spicy curry varieties, grilled gyoza, fried noodles, and rice bowls. People with a vegetarian or vegan diet will find a large variety of dishes they can eat, too. The Japanese dishes at ra´mien are uncomplicated, really delicious, and perfect for a big appetite or a small snack.
